16-yr-old raped,killed in UP,dumped in well

Sub Inspector Prem Chandra Kureel said the police were informed at 7.30 am about a girls body lying in a well at Pitambarpur village. There were knife injuries on her cheeks,forehead and chest. Her private parts also had injuries.

The girls father told the police she and her brother were last seen going upstairs to sleep on the terrace at 1 am. She was found missing when her mother went to wake her up,Kureel said. While searching for the girl,the family and locals saw blood in a field and soon found the girls clothes and then her body,he added.

Kureel said they have picked up some suspects who were at the wedding.
