PUNE, July 9: The civic works committee of the PCMC as approved the independent water supply scheme for the 18 merged villages. The scheme will incur an expenditure of Rs 69 crore. Around 100 MLD water is to be provided to the villages. The PCMC has proposed to acquire an area of two hectares at survey number 96 near Ravet for constructing the water purification plant for the scheme.
