The Board of Control for Cricket in India8217;s new tax consultant P Srinivasan is arriving with treasurer N Srinivasan tomorrow, along with Tamil Nadu Cricket Association secretary Kasi Vishwanathan, to discuss the intricacies of the tax problems that has emerged here. According to board secretary Niranjan Shah, who was here to present a memento to Sourav Ganguly on the occasion of the former captain playing in his 100th Test, the officials will hold talks with Cricket Australia and government officials and try and assess the situation and work around ways where the players8217; are not taxed on their match fees as per the Australian laws. Though Shah refused to speculate on the possible solutions to the tax problem, sources in the board say that the BCCI is prepared to pay the taxes, amounting nearly to Rs 6 crores. Shah, meanwhile, also refuted claims that Munaf Patel might be inducted into the team as the 17th member in the side. 8220;It8217;s all rubbish and there has been no such plan,8221; he concluded.
