Vice-principal caught copying

She was appearing for the Law of Torts examination. The squad made out a case of quot;use of unfair meansquot; against her, while the examination centre superintendent lodged a case under the anti-copying law at the Gandhi Nagar police station. Her arrest is expected soon.

8220;I have been framed. This is all part of teachers8217; politics,8221; Sahay said. She claimed that as soon as the Flying Squad came to the examination hall at 9am, they came straight to her and started frisking her. When they searched her shoulder bag, they recovered a slip of paper, which was part of notes that had 8220;inadvertently8221; got left in the bag, she said. Sahay added that the FIR for a case of its kind is unprecedented.

University sources hinted at action against her, starting with a suspension. Rajasthan University Student Union president Raj Kumar Sharma here today flayed Sahay8217;s copying act and demanded action against her. Rajasthan is notorious for copying. Meenakshi Chandrawat, a Congress MLA and state president of the National Students8217; Union of India, was recently caught copying and was, thereafter, fired by Congress president Sonia Gandhi from her post. Earlier, an IAS officer, AK Hemkar, was caught copying during a law examination.
