Vaiko meets PM, Natwar

MDMK leader Vaiko met PM Manmohan Singh and External Affairs Minister Natwar Singh on Wednesday. He called on Congress chief Sonia Gandhi too. With Natwar Singh, Vaiko is learnt to have cautioned the Government against adopting a hands-off policy on LTTE. Peace talks are an ongoing process and should in no way be discontinued, he said.

On whether he had reservations on the appointment of J.N. Dixit as National Security Advisor, Vaiko said he was willing to admit that Dixit may have changed his opinion about the LTTE. 8216;8216;I have nothing against the appointment. People change over the years,8217;8217; he added.
