DEO inquiry against school
The District Education Office has begun to inquire into complaints that a reputed English medium school of the city ignored the claims of genuine students and admitted students with low percentage. Two education inspectors seized related records from the school on Wednesday. According to DEO V Nanavati, the report was expected on Thursday.

Rainfall in dist
Seven talukas received rainfall on Wednesday, while a few parts of city recorded scanty showers. Jetpurpavi and Sinor recorded more than 20 mm rainfall each. The district flood control room said every taluka had received about 1000 mm of rain so far, which was a sign of normalcy and would benefit farmers.
