City doctors volunteer for Kargil service
Seven Vadodara-based doctors 8212; Dr Rajendrasinh Rathore, Dr Mahendra Dhopte, Dr Vikas Ponda, Dr Shailesh Patel, Dr Kaushik Vyas, Dr Kalpit Baxi and Dr Ranjan Iyar 8212; have volunteered to serve jawans fighting in Kargil, Drass and Batalik. In a letter to the army chief of staff, Dr Rathore said the doctors were ready to reach the battleground at their own expense and provide free medication.

BBA entrance
Results of the Bachelors of Business Administration entrance examination, conducted by M S University on June 15, will be declared at 3 pm on Monday. Results will be displayed at the Pharmacy College building, near Fatehgunj Post Office circle.

Fire in Dabhoi
Property worth Rs 3.5 lakh was gutted in a fire at a house in Pansoli, a Narmada rehabilitation site, at Dabhoi on Sunday. Fire Brigade sources a large quantity of teakwood was destroyed in the fire.

Showers in city
Parts of Vadodara recorded 1.4 mm rain early on Sunday. Water-logging, too, was reported from parts of the city.
