Students force faculty to close
Agitating student union leaders forced the authorities of the Faculty of Commerce, M S University to close it for a day on Monday. They were demanding the faculty grant admission to students who had secured less than the cut-off percentage of 46.

Faculty Dean B S Patel, however, told Express Newsline, 8220;Since we have already decided not to grant admissions to any more students, we cannot consider their demands.8221;

Suspended
District Development Officer Anju Sharma on Monday suspended H C Tadvi, an extension officer of Pavijetpur, for dereliction of duty during the recent gastroenteritis outbreak there.
