SANGLI, Jan 19: Uproar marked the Sangli Municipal Corporation general body meeting yesterday over transferring civic labour official Srirang Patil whose style of functioning, according to ruling Congress members was, `unsatisfactory'.Patil was charged of alleged non-cooperation with the elected members. Congress leader in the House Suresh Patil stated that there were many complains against Patil. Objecting the resolution, independent member Ramchandra Ghodke questioned the motive.The meeting later decided that Municipal Commissioner Asim Kumar Gupta would look into the complaints against Patil.The meeting later unanimously congratulated district collector Nitin Kareer who recently visited the city's red light areas.
