VADODARA, Sept 26: Labour unions have criticised the State government8217;s decision to scrap one of the three posts of assistant labour commissioner in Vadodara.
The Vadodara Kamdar Union said that since more and more industrial units were coming up in and around Vadodara, the number of labour disputes, too, was on the rise. In the last four years alone, 839 companies had come up, it said, adding that the city needed two more ALCs to tackle the growing labour problems.
