Two seats for Sonia Gandhi

NEW DELHI, April 29: Sonia Gandhi is likely to contest from two seats in the coming elections. Amethi, UP, is the number one choice, but a section of the Congress is wary of Mulayam Singh Yadav who, they feel, could work overtime for Sonia8217;s defeat from Amethi.

Cuddapah in Andhra Pradesh, is being talked of as the second seat for Sonia. APCC chief Y S Rajasekhar Reddy is the sitting Cuddapah MP and this is considered a 8220;safe seat8221;. Reddy is likely to contest only the AP Assembly polls, as the Congress8217; CM candidate.
