
VADODARA, Aug 4: A two-day conference of Chartered Accountants8217; students would be organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants ICA of India, on August 7, as a part of its golden jubilee celebrations.
The conference would be on How to become a better professional in the next millennium8217; with a view to face the challenges of the changing time ahead, an ICA release said.
According to Milin Mehta, treasurer of Western Regional Council, the conference will also provide an opportunity for CA students across the country to meet and discuss matters of direct interest. The students could share their ideas and experiences which would help them in experience and self-development, the release added.
This was the 12th students8217; conference being organised in India and first in Gujarat, Mehta said, adding that there would be 40 panel speakers who will deliver their speeches in the conference on different subjects.
The institute has also decided to increase the membership fees from the current financial year to raise funds for mobilising their activities across the country.
