Trust members seek discussion on swami

Swami Ghanshyamprasadji, one of the trustees, told Express Newsline that he, along with Nagjibhai K Patel of Mumbai and Shankarbhai T Patel of Surat, had demanded a meeting to discuss the 8220;shameful and sad8221; incident as well as discuss the new appointments.

8220;I have let the other trustees know our intention and it is sad that there has not been any word from their side till date8221;, he said. It is said that there are differences between the two groups over the appointment of Hasmukhbhai Patel as trust chairman.

The head of the sect Acharya Shree Ajendraprasadji refused to comment on the demand, while trust secretary Surendra M Patel and Hasmukhbhai Patel could not be contacted as they were away.

On Wednesday, the review application against the remand granted to CBI for four accused 8211; assistant kothari of Vadtal temple Shreejicharan Swami, kothari of Vidyanagar Hostel Madhavpratap Swami, bhagat Chimanbhai Dayabhai from Vadtal and kothari of Swaminarayan temple, Mumbai, Gyanprakash Swami 8211; was rejected by the additional sessions judge R Sharma.
