
CHANDIGARH, April 12: The trainer development programme, organised at the Food Craft Institute, concluded here today.
Conducted by the India Tourism Human Resource Development Committee, Ministry of Tourism, the chief guest on the function was Dr V. K. Kak, Director-cum-Principal, Government Medical College. He distributed participation certificates to candidates, representing various tourism and hospitality organisations.quot;A trainer plays the role of a facilitator, who imparts skills to the trainees. Also, there is a need to train the senior-level of staff as the attitude development starts at the top.quot;
According to Alok Shivpuri, principal, FCI, the efforts put in by Geetanjli Dhar, Training Consultant, Ministry of Tourism, were also lauded.
