PUNE, Sept 29: A three-day refreshers course for forest department research personnel was held here recently by the research wing of the forest department. Medicinal plants, herbarium techniques and basic photography techniques were the thrust areas. In all 40 personnel from across the State participated, deputy conservator of forest and sericulturist M Karunakaran said. They visited the Botanical Survey of India and forest department research garden here and the forest of Bhimashankar.
