Traffic directions for August 1

CHANDIGARH, July 30: To mark the closing of the Golden Jubilee Celebration of 50 years of Independence, around 25,000 school children are expected to assemble in the Cricket Stadium of Sector 16 on August 1, at 10.00 am.

In wake of the programme, the City Traffic police have decided to restrict the flow of traffic on the road leading from the Cricket stadium roundabout to the small roundabout on the road dividing Sector 16 and 23 from 8 a.m. onwards on Saturday.

The open space near the Government Model School, Sector 23, would be used for parking of vehicles carrying school children.
