Tope after trishul

Finally, there’s competition for VHP leader Pravin Togadia and RJD chief Laloo Yadav. Satirist Jaspal Bhatti is here to distribute tope (cannon). At a Tope rally against corruption at the Press Club of India on Tuesday, Bhatti distributed models of cannons among his supporters.

“Trishuls, lathis and swords are outdated. We need to use modern weapons like grenades, machine guns and topes. If Laloo and Togadia can be proud of outdated weapons we also not ashamed of distributing cannons,’’ Bhatti said as his colleagues held wooden models of cannons. Bhatti had held a similar rally in Chandigarh earlier this week.
