Mumbai, October 20: It will be thrills galore for soccer enthusiasts from India as the country will host the Studio 2100-sponsored Millennium Super Soccer Cup from January 10 to 25. The games of this soccer extravaganza will be held at the Yababharati Krirangan Stadium (Calcutta), the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (Cochin) and at the Nehru Stadium (Goa). The inaugural and final games will be played in Calcutta.
According to Henna Juneja, the CEO of Studio 2100, National teams of Bahrain, Greece, Japan, Cameroon, Uruguay, Jamaica, Uzbekistan, Colombia, Chile, Iraq, India, New Zealand, Trinidad and Tobago, Yugoslavia, Qatar, Jordan, Hong Kong, South Africa and Indonesia have confirmed attendance.Soccer fans will get a virtual treat watching stars like Zamarano, Salas, Valencia, Castillo, Rene Higuita, Juntatloa Angel, Sago and Strikovich brothers and many more class footballers.
.Apart from this organisers have decided to get the kids of Calcutta, Cochin and Goa involved in this soccer feast. 400 students each from 16 schools will be asked to go through a quiz show. The top scorer from each school will get a chance to have lunch with Cameroon `Lion’ Roger Milla.
