CHANDIGARH, March 21: An unbeaten knock by Sukhwinder Tinkoo 83 helped Godrej Cricket Club score 77 runs victory over Punjab Civil Services XI in the Chandigarh league cum-knock-out cricket tournament played at Sector 16 Cricket Stadium here today.

Electing to bat, Godrej CC scored 206 in the allotted 25 overs, losing two wickets. Sukhwinder Tinkoo 83 not out and Rajesh Patha 58 not out were the batsmen to score for the team.

In reply, PunjabCivil Services team was bundled out for 129.

Girish Bhanot and Vijay Pal got three wickets each.

In another match Youth CricketClub beat JAL XI by six wickets. Bombay XI will take on Eleven Star andFighter XI play Falcon XI on March 27 at PGI at 8 a.m.

JAL XI: 85 in 19.5 overs Rajesh Chabra 25, Munish 24, Anupam Bhatt 4 for 10, Devinder 2 for 9; YCC: 88 for 4 in 19 overs Malkit Singh 28 n.o., Mashwinder Singh 21, Hemant 2 for 7.
