Woods finished the Mercedes championship in Kapalua, Hawaii at 15-under 277 to tie South Africa8217;s Retief Goosen for fourth behind winner Stuart Appleby.
Woods, who celebrated his 28th birthday on December 30, has accumulated 40.05 million in his nine-year career as a professional.
8220;I love inflation,8221; Woods said. He has captured 39 tournaments and eight Majors.
By comparison Jack Nicklaus won 5.7 million in his storied career while Arnold Palmer earned 1.86 million.
Woods will not play in this week8217;s Sony Open in Hawaii. He returns to the Tour on February 9 for the San Diego Buick invitational.
