PUNE, MARCH 25: With less then five-days left for the India-Sri Lanka one-day international tri-series cricket match in the city, work at the Nehru Stadium has reached its peak.
The hosts, Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA), has been gearing up to spruce up players’ facilities as well as those to accommodate a deluge of cricket crazy fans expected to come at the venue on Tuesday.
The Shamiyana to bring all stands under cover as summer approaches is almost set up. Security is getting considerable attention and Dyneshwar Agashe, chairman, MCA, today affirmed at a press conference that all efforts are on to ward off the possibility of untoward incidents.
Tickets will be on sale tomorrow (Friday) at the ticket window (near Club House entrance), opp. Anand Mangal Karyalaya. Only four tickets per person will be allotted.
Adequate arrangements have been made for parking of two and four wheelers at the nearby Sanas ground.
