NASHIK, June 16: Three persons were killed and eleven others injured, three of them seriously, in a collision between a State Transport bus and a truck on the Mumbai-Agra national highway in the early hours of Sunday. According to police, the Kalyan-Nendurbar Dhule ST bus was proceeding towards Nashik when a truck proceeding towards Mumbai rammed into it near Rajur, Wadiwarhe, about 30 kilometres from Nashik, .

The deceased were identified as Vinayak Chintaman Sutar 45, Jitendra Lohar 40 residents of Ulhasnagar and Kalyan, respectively. The third deceased is yet to be identified. The injured were rushed to the Nashik civil hospital. The truck driver was arrested.
