Three Ashwin Naik goons held

PUNE, April 9: Three henchmen of the Mumbai-based Ashwin Naik gang were arrested on Tuesday by the crime branch here in connection with the abduction and murder of Wakadewadi estate agent Dipak Deo.

The three henchmen, Sandip Dicholkar 27, Abdul Razzak Salim Inamdar alias Farook 24 and Krishna Marimuttu Devendra alias Dabbu 28, who were arrested by Mumbai police on charges of murdering Akhil Bharatiya Sena leader Ramdas Ambavkar, were rearrested immediately after they were handed over to Pune police.

They were produced before a judicial magistrate first class on Tuesday afternoon and produced to police custody till April 18.
