CHENNAI, AUG 16: The 15-member Sri Lanka-bound Indian cricket team had a vigorous workout under coach Anshuman Gaekwad at the four-day camp which began at the Chidambaram Stadium here on Monday.
8220;This is not a camp. The idea is to have the team together for at least a few days. We can call it a camp only if it8217;s 15 days or more,8221; he said in reply to question.
8220;A few grey areas are still to be sorted out and we are trying to forge a winning combination,8221; Gaekwad added. He lamented that lack of consistency was the main drawback. 8220;If a team wins two or three matches and loses the next match, it lacks in consistency.8221;
With many of the players arriving only in the morning, the team had nets for about four hours in the evening.
