AIADMK chief Jayalalithaa said her party would approach the Madras High Court seeking more protection as she was facing a threat to her life, after an intruder entered into her house.
8220;It is god8217;s grace that I escaped. But for the alert given by my sister Sasikala and her relative Ilavarasi, the intruder might have entered my room yesterday,8221; she said.
Claiming that there was a threat to her life, she said she would lodge a complaint with the President, the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister on the issue.
Jayalalithaa alleged that she had information that M K Stalin, Tamil Nadu Local Administration Minister and son of DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi, has told his father that 8216;she would not be alive8217; during the next Assembly polls.
8220;Karunanidhi had asked Stalin to nurture the present alliance to face the next Assembly polls during which he might not be alive, to which Stalin had reportedly said that I Jayalalithaa might not be alive,8221; she said.
8220;I have decided to reveal this information due to yesterday8217;s incident. It is for you to infer,8221; she said.
Despite being in 8216;Z plus8217; category, Tamil Nadu government has provided her only three constables for security, she said. She said former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who was also under 8216;Z plus8217;, was being protected by 65 police personnel while he was in his house.
The NSG security was given to her only when she was out of her house, she added.
