A few months ago, the santoor exponent got a super present. ‘‘It stores 19 days of music,’’ says 32-year-old Rahul Sharma, when you ask him about his iPod. A ‘‘fan’’ not only gave Sharma the gift, but also transferred music from his hard disk, along with photographs of CD inlays for the musician. ‘‘I haven’t listened to all the music yet,’’ says Sharma, who’s clued in to classical, but is also inclined towards some Bollywood pop.
