
Pakistan today said it has arrested five suspected 8216;8216;terrorists8217;8217; and claims that they had confessed to links with an Indian intelligence agency.
Initial investigations show that the men admitted their involvement in various terrorist acts like planting bombs on gas pipelines and electricity polls, Police spokesman Tariq Jameel told reporters in Karachi.
He also said that during interrogation the arrested men said the leaders of the terrorist outfit met officials of India8217;s Research and Analysis wing RAW in foreign countries and received support from them.
State-run PTV said, without naming the organisation, that the arrested had links with a 8216;8216;terrorist organisation8217;8217; active in interior Sindh province.
