NEW DELHI, April 27: A brilliant string of scores at Sharjah saw Sachin Tendulkar 5217 points climb 12 places to occupy the sixth position in the Pepsi World Cricket Ratings for One-Day Internationals ODIs.

In the list released today, Australian left-hander Michael Bevan 6788 shot up to the top in batting standings, pushing Sri Lankan master blaster Sanath Jayasuriya 6659 to the second spot.

In the bowling department, quickie Javagal Srinath 8049 retained his fifth rank even as Pakistan8217;s spinner Saqlain Mushtaq 8428 regained the top berth from South African paceman Allan Donald, who was placed second with 8427 points. Saurav Ganguly was the only player in today8217;s list to figure in both the batting and bowling list. The Calcutta lad was placed 12th in the batting order 4699 and 10th in bowling 7838.
