
Two workers belonging to the TDP and the Congress were killed and over 15 were injured, while TDP candidate for Penugonda Assembly seat was arrested for allegedly attacking a rival. In Guntur district, TDP and Congress activists hurled crude bombs at each other at Vipparla and Rompicherla under Narsaraopet Assembly segment from where the State Health Minister K. Sivaprasada Rao is seeking re-election. No one was hurt in the two incidents.
