Talks on sugarcane workers8217; wages inconclusive

MUMBAI, Jan 11: Talks between Lok Sabha Opposition leader Sharad Pawar and Deputy Chief Minister Gopinath Munde to resolve the issue of wage settlement of sugarcane workers ended inconclusively at the state guest house Sahyadri this evening.

Pawar told mediapersons that there would be another meeting with representatives of sugarcane workers in the next few days. Also present at today8217;s meeting were State Cooperative Bank Chairman Ajit Pawar and president of the Maharashtra State Cooperative Sugar Factory Organisation Jayant Patil.
