After the meeting of the UPA-Left committee on the Indo-US nuclear deal at External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee8217;s office, the leaders walked down the stairs. Lalu held CPI General Secretary AB Bardhan8217;s hand to help him negotiate the stairs. The RJD chief then started counting, 8220;1-2-3, Bardhan sahib landing aa gaya.8221; As everybody burst into laughter, the Railway Minister tightened his grip on Bardhan and quipped, 8220;Jab tak maine pakda hua hai, sarkar nahin girne dunga So long as I grip you, I won8217;t let the Government fall.8221;
