Three people, including a child, were killed on Monday and at least 10 went missing when an Army boat rescuing flood victims capsized near Murliganj.

Here8217;s how Bihar is coping with the situation:

w Water level has reduced from 1.90 lakh cusecs to 1.25 lakh cusecs

8226; 5 lakh people have been evacuated

8226; 200 camps are operational

8226; 1,300 boats have been deployed

8226; 86 medical centres have been opened

8226; Petroleum Ministry will provide 10,000 kl of kerosene and LPG cylinders

8226; Three more helicopters were being deployed

8226; Centre has provided 14 satellite phones to establish contact with marooned areas

8226; 5,767 tents have been dispatched and additional 1,922 tents are being organised
