
Symposium on coronary diseases
The Enar Foundation Research Centre has organised an international symposium on Epidemiology of Coronary Heart Diseases in Indians 8211; Past Lessons and Future Directions8217; at Navsari on April 12 at 10 am. South Gujarat University Vice-chancellor Prem Sharda will inaugurate the symposium, while Dr Heema Shukla of Westminister University UK, who is the co-ordinator of thesymposium, will give an overview.
Office-bearers
New office-bearers of the Surat Saher Prathamik Shikshak Sangh will be elected on May 2. Candidates should collect nomination forms from the convenor on April 25. Meanwhile, a meeting to discuss the forthcoming elections has been organised at the Sangh office on April 11.

IRM convocation
Vadodara: The 18th convocation of the Institute of Rural Management will be held on Friday at the Tribhuvandas Patel Auditorium at NDDB, Anand from 11 am. President, United Nations Population Council, Margaret Cately Carlson will be the chief guest on the occasion. Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management will be awarded to 70 students this year.
