
VADODARA, Aug 24: Two students of the Lal Bahadur Shastri Hall hostel have been expelled from the hostel following complaints of misbehaviour over the past few months. They will not be allowed to stay in any M S University hostel hereafter.
A decision to this effect was taken after a disciplinary committee report addressed to the chief warden and the hostel warden found the boys guilty of breaking hostel rules, and recommended disciplinary action against them.Hostel warden Dr S Kumar said, 8220;This decision was taken as the students had erred on several occasions.8221;
He added that these two students were allowing students of other hostels to stay in their rooms, which is not allowed. When those students were asked to show their fee receipt, they were unable to do so.
8220;During several checks that were conducted, these students were found to be still allowing their friends, despite several warnings,8221; said Kumar.
He added that the students allegedly disturbed everybody else in the hostel late at night on a regular basis.
Kumar added that the students had been warned even for this act, but they repeated the offence. The students, however, claimed that the warden had no evidence and was framing false charges against them.
They claimed that they had not disturbed anybody late at night.
