BANGALORE, SEPT 11: With the first two events in the 8217;99 Wills Sport-PGAI Golf Tour in Chennai having produced some exciting stuff, there is no reason to believe that the third-leg of the series, the Wills Southern Open at the KGA course here Sept 14-18, will be any different.

The pro field will be virtually the same as in Chennai, and in fact, it has been strengthened by the return of Delhi8217;s Jyothi Randhawa, ninth on the 8217;98 Order of Merit list, who had skipped both Cosmo and Color Plus Open at Chennai, earlier this month as he was playing on the Asian PGA circuit.

Also, another Delhi star, Gaurav Ghei, returns after missing the Color Plus Open as does Indrajit Bhalotia of Calcutta, two of the hottest stars in the country8217;s professional circuit. Heading the pro field will be of course Vijay Kumar and Feroz Ali, the winners of the first two events of the Tour.

Defending champion Shiv Prakash, Amritinder Singh, who lost to Feroz in a play-off at the Color Plus Open along with two-time Indian Openwinner Ali Sher, Uttam Singh Mundy two-time PGAI champion and Mukesh Kumar are the others in the fray.

The tournament, third stop of the PGAI Tour, will start on Sept 14 with the customary Pro-Am event involving, according to the organisers8217; estimate, 120 players, before the main event commences on Sept 15.
