MUMBAI, Aug 15: St Stanislaus, Bandra and St Anne8217;s Orlem will meet in the final of under-16 Division I Inter-Schools football tournament, sponsored by Colgate-Palmolive at the MSSA-Castrol Azad Maidan today.

A hat-trick by Bejoy Maliakal helped St Stanislaus trounce Don Bosco, Borivli, 3-1 in the first semi-final while St Anne8217;s fine allround football was too much for OLPS, Chembur, whom they surpassed 2-0 in the second semi-final.

Bejoy8217;s fine finishing was the main factor in Stanislaus8217; win and he now leads the Division I goal-scorers chart with 18 goals.

Bosco 8216;keeper Edwin Fernandes came up with fine saves in the first 15 minutes but thereafter, the Bandra team started controlling the mid-field. Arun Fizardo, Delano D8217;Souza and Daniel Colaco were the key performers.

Bejoy won a ball from Edwin to put Stanislaus ahead. His second of the match came was a long-ranger and he placed the ball to the right of Edwin in the dying minutes of the match to seal the victory for Stanislaus.

In the secondsemi-final, although OLPS, Chembur were outclassed by Anne8217;s accurate passing, their goalkeeper Kanish Gupta came up with atleast half-a-dozen brilliant saves.

Adrein D8217;Souza put St Anne8217;s ahead when he bulged the net from close range. A fine strike by Sneddon Periera sealed the win for the Orlem team minutes before the final whistle.
