Sreesanth flew into Kolkata to give his fitness test ahead of the team selection for Australia. During the tea break on the second day, the Kerala pacer gave his fitness test. An official report from John Gloster is expected to be submitted to the board before the selection committee meets on December 5, but sources close to the team suggest that Sreesanth may not make it.
Sreesanth was taken through the paces to test his injured right shoulder. He also bowled at well below pace and was involved in lengthy discussions with Venkatesh Prasad and Gloster before returning to the dressing room.
