Barsaat, Shree Krishna Audio

THERE8217;S no fear of Nadeem Shravan fading out. The duo didn8217;t do too badly with the music of Bewafaa, and have brought back some mass appeal tracks in Barsaat.

The opening track Barsaat Ke Din Aaye by Kumar Sanu a favourite of the duo and Alka Yagnik will be a sure-fire hit with Mumbai8217;s cabbies and autowallahs. But Abhijeet and Yagnik are completely wasted in Mushkil, which has nothing new to offer.

Pyaar Aaya has an Eastern RD Burman-like feel from his 1942 A Love Story days. It8217;s a cloyingly sweet melody, but Sonu Nigam and Yagnik manage to pull it off.

If you have Western sensibilities, you8217;ll dig the number featuring Alisha Chinoy and the highly underrated rapper Ishq. This is where hip hop meets the oh-so-popular bhangra beats. Don8217;t miss Nadeem-Shravan8217;s cunning rip-off of 50 Cent8217;s In Da Club.

The next one is a dandiya special. Sapna Awasthi, burns up the folksy Chori Chori Ladi Akhiyan along with Yagnik.Skip the rest, or tune in if you8217;re a diehard NS fan.
