SOPU withdraws strike

CHANDIGARH, Aug 24: The indefinite hunger strike by SOPU activists Jatinder Chadha and Arun Rana in support of the science students8217; demands was withdrawn today after their demands were met, a press release stated.

B.Ed test cards n Candidates who did not receive their B.Ed entrance test result cards can collect them, on the production of their admit cards, from the PU administrative block CET Cell on or before August 26. Later than can be collected from the Dev Samaj College of Education for Women, Sector 36.

Interview on Aug 27
About 95 seats in the B.Sc hons I and B.Pharm I are lying vacant. All interviewed candidates and late applicants are required to reach the Department of Biochemistry on August 27 for filling the seats.

Results of M.Sc Part II in Biotechnology, MA I Defence and Strategic Studies were declared, and those of BE Electronics and Electrical Communication eighth semester and MA I Physical Education would be declared on Wednesday.
