Softball selections on April 30

PUNE, April 22: Pune District Softball Association will organise a district level softball tournament-cum-selection trial for junior boys and girls at the LR Shinde ground on April 30.

The Pune district team, which will be selected after this tournament, will participate in the junior state championship to be held at Dombivali in the month of May. A four member selection committee comprising of Atul Shinde, Rajendra Misal, Kaustub Govande and Sushila Mishra have been appointed for the meet.

The last date of accepting entries is April 25. The interested clubs, schools and junior colleges may contact Kaustub Govande on Shinde school ground between 5 to 7 p.m. or on Ph: 4226627.

State boxing
The Mumbai Mayor senior state boxing championship organised by the Maharashtra Amateur Boxing Association (MABA) will be held at the Wilson College, Marine Lines, Mumbai from April 25 to 28. Those interested in participating should contact Madan Kotule (Ph: 4337497).
