Just a day after their last-ball defeat at the hands of Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Friday, defending champions Mumbai Indians will be back in the middle at Navi Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium facing off against Delhi Capitals in a Women’s Premier League clash. For Delhi, this will be the first game of the season so far.

Despite defeat, Mumbai had some bright spots in the opening day game against RCB, notably the form of Sajana Sajeevan with the bat and the handy contribution from Amelie Kerr with the ball.
