Bangalore, Nov 20: Shiva Prakash, who recently bought a house at Geddalahalli in Sanjayanagar locality here, was in for a shock on Wednesday: He found a skeleton within the kitchen platform.

He had only bought the house last month. Finding that the platform for cooking was hindering movement, Shiva Prakash decided to remove it. But construction workers engaged in the task came across some large bones.

Suspecting that they belonged to a human being, they reported the matter to the police. Police arrived and dug up the platform further, to unearth a full skeleton. It was sent for analysis.

Doctors said the skeleton could be a year old and is that of a man. Sanjayanagar police are investigating. aBThe small house was previously owned by Susan Joseph, who worked as a nurse at a nursing home at Mathikere. Last month, she sold the house to Shiva Prakash and left the city.
