Six officials suspended

CHANDIGARH, MARCH 4: Six officials including threeJEs, two superintendents and one panchayat officer have been placed under suspension following a surprise inspection by V. K. Janjua, Director, Rural Development and Panchayats. According to a press statement, surprise inspections were made in the offices of three blocks and some officials were found to be absent.

The officials have been placed under suspension in contemplation of disciplinary proceedings against them.
