Six arrested for murder

NEW DELHI, June 3: Northwest district police have arrested 6 persons in a case of murder committed on May 24 in Samaipur Badli area.

A 23-year-old man was stabbed by a group of persons and succumbed to his injuries the next day. Badri Nath along with his relatives Jitender and Satinder were living as tenants in a Jeevan Park house. Another tenant of the house Shamlal used to quarrel with the three on the petty issue of playing a music system.

The accused Shamlal decided to teach the family a lesson. On May 24, the accused Shamlal along with 8 associates attacked the deceased and his relatives with knives. While Jitender and Satinder who had been stabbed survived, Badri Nath died as he had received brain injuries.
