World steeplechase races live at Mahalakshmi
Martell Grand National, world’s greatest steeplechase and the biggest challenge for thoroughbreds over the longest distance of four and a half mile (7,200 metres) scheduled on March 10 at 8-15 pm (IST) at Aintree, UK, will be shown live on a giant screen at Mahalakshmi in the members enclosures.

This unique opportunity is being arranged by Seagram Manufacturing Ltd. in association with the Royal Western India Turf Club. Prior to the live relay the Martell Red Rum Chase (6-50 pm ) and Martell Aintree Hurdle (7-30pm) will also be shown live.

Unique contest of skill
Seagram in association with RWITC will have a unique contest of skill. All jackpot pool tickets successful up to the 3rd leg of the jackpot pool for the Mumbai races to be held on April 10 will be eligible for participation in the lucky draw.

The first and second prizes will be Rs 25,000, and Rs 15,000, respectively. These prizes will be in the form of free Totalizator cards whichcan be used for betting by the prospective punters.

Bodybuilding competition
A state-level bodybuilding competition, sponsored by Twinlab and Vilas Patankar, for the Pathare Gymco Parel Shree 1999 (open) and the Pathare Gymco Parel Shree 1999 (interval) will be held on April 24 at Shirodkar Hall, Parel.
