A Pentangular competition would also be held as part of the camp from June 9-13, where two teams shortlisted from the trainees and one team each from Punjab and Sind Bank Academy Jalandhar, Air India Academy Delhi and Sail Academy Rourkela will make the field.

An attacking 69 by Mohd Atiq helped Ambassador Sky Chef enter the pre-quarterfinals of Khazan Singh Memorial Tournament, beating Osnil Club by seven wickets.

Three share lead
Surender Kumar Sharma, H S Verma and KBL Srivastava were in joint lead with four points each at the end of the fourth round in the third Bhagawati Gas Open Chess Tournament at the Botwinnik Chess Academy.

J.N.Golden in quarters
J.N.Golden beat Chand Khanna XI on spin of coin after their match was disrupted by rain in the second Lala Hari Ram Aggarwal Memorial Tournament at the MCD ground. The winners thus entered the quarterfinal. Chand Khanna XI, chasing a total of 227 for 4 made by J.N.Golden, were 22 for no loss in 3.3 overs when rain intervened play and the match had to be decided on spin of coin. Ashu Dani scored an unbeaten 103 for the winners.

Pankaj, Sanjay shine
Pankaj 86 and Sanjay Gill 5 for 11 helped Municipal Corporation of Delhi beat Jupiter by seven wickets in the Hari Singh Tyagi TYCA super league at the New Police Lines ground.

Raghubir Trophy
An enhanced prize money of Rs 10,000 and some changes in the format will be the salient features of the 22nd Lala Raghubir Singh Hot Weather Cricket Tournament, scheduled to begin at the Modern School Barakhamba Road grounds from May 21.

This year, the total prize money will be Rs 61,000. Instead of playing the tournament on knockout-cum-league as was the practice till last year, this year8217;s edition will be on league-cum-super league basis, to provide more matches to the 12 participating teams.
