
Crown for Bhavani
Bhavani Trimurti Rai School clinched the girls under-12 singles championship beating Shalini Sahoo 7-5, 6-1 in the Laxman memorial mini-tennis championship at Laxman Pulic School, Hauz Khas Enclave.
The match saw some good rallies in the first set, Shalini tool lead at two times in the set, but Bhavani managed to take the set by 7-5. Second set saw Bhavani coming back strongly and took the set at 6-1.
In the boys under-12 finals, Vijit Sehgal gave close fithe to Sharvin Mittal, the tennis played by both the players was of defence, and the consistent of the two Sharvin won the set 7-5. In the second set Vijit tried his best to come to the match but confident Sharvin won it in a fashionin the second set at 6-3.
Recently, Sanna Bhambri and Yuki Bhambri won the mixed doubles championship beating Bhavani and Vijit 6-2, 6-1.

Inter-school football meet
The sixth pulse polio inter-school football tournament will be held between December 6 and 15 at the Ambedkar Stadium. About 30 school teams are expected to participate in the tournament. Entries close with Mohidner Bhandarii, organising secretary, at the venue on November 30.
St Paul8217;s Sports Day
St Paul8217;s School Hauz Khas organised its annual sports meet on November 20 at IIT Stadium. Chetan Chauhan was the chief guest. He encouraged the students to take more interest in the sports.
DGFT enter title round
DGFT defeated Ministry of Home Affairs 3-0 to enter the final of the Inter-Ministry Football Tournament. Dinesh Singh Aswal, Devi Ram Meena and J Xalxo were the scorers. DSA trials-coaching-camp
The trials-cum-coaching camp to select the Delhi State team for participation in Zonal Nationals U-21 football championship beginning from December 10 at Una Himachal Pradesh will be held from November 26 at DDA Yamuna Sports Complex, near Karkarduma East Delhi from 3pm. Fr Agnels School beat New Green Field Saket 85-73 to enter the final of the Daulat Ram Memorial Basketball Tournament. Sameer 28, Rohit 28 were main scorers for Fr Agnels while Anil 24 and Arnab 20 were main contributors for New Green Field.
