Sandeep Sharma8217;s 89 and all-round display by Sameer Sharma 39 and 2 for 24 powered Parasrampuria Synthetics to a 26-run victory over Dhampur Sugar Mills in the final of the Parasrampuria Cup at Siri Fort sports complex. Jitender Sharma 3 for 34 and Rajesh Negi 3 for 41 were the main wicket-takers for the winners while Salim 3 for 29 was the most successful bowler for the runners-up. Following players were also awarded for their performance during the tournament: Sandeep Sharma best batsman, Alok Parasrampuria best bowler, Nafees man of the tournament, Salim most valuable player and Mukesh Jain best fielder.

Dinesh Batra of Audit knocked out Jaspal Singh also of Audit 25-11, 25-7 in men8217;s singles of the inter-ministry carrom championship. In the men8217;s doubles, Dinesh Batra paired with Jaipal Singh beat PK Gupta and VK Dharmana Audit 25-6, 25-0. In the other semi-final encounter, Md. Nasir Audit prevailed over SK Singh Lok Sabha Sect 25-9, 25-7. TC Chaudhary and Virender Singh Health triumphed over SV Yenurkar and TP Chauhan 25-24, 25-15.
Prijit, Mohit star
An all-round display by Prijit Sashidharan 4 for 26 and 33 and breezy 78 by Mohit Sharma helped Media win the second Siemens Cup championship beating Hotel Vasant Continental by 28 runs at Jamia Millia ground. Zaheer Ahmed Vasant Continental, Jaiswal Siemen8217;s and Mohit Sharma Media were adjudged man of the series, best bowler and best batsman, respectively.
