Yuvraj Singh, Bhatia give India 3-0 lead
Two outstanding individual performances by opening batsman Rajat Bhatia and left-handed Yuvraj Singh made all the difference between victory and defeat in the third one-day match between India under-19 and their Sri Lankan counterparts today. The Indians won by 73 runs to take an unbeatable 3-0 win in the four-match series.

Pak confident
A 14-member Pakistani cricket squad led by skipper Wasim Akram arrived in Dhaka today to play against Sri Lanka in the Asian Test Championship final. The match between favourites Pakistan and world champions Sri Lanka begins at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Friday. quot;We have come here to win the title. Hussain wins
Eighteen-year-old Enamul Hussain of Bangladesh scored a big upset when he defeated the top seed, national champion Dibyendu Barua in the third round of the Datamatics Asian Zonal Chess Championships today. The other GM in the tournament, Pravin Thipsay, played a brilliant game to outwit the young IM Krishnan Sasikiran. Thipsay has three points and shares the lead with IM Abhijit Kunte who won a long-drawn out encounter against Badri Nepali of Nepal.
