MLWB hold BPT

MLWB, Andheri held BPT to a 1-1 draw in the Chhatrapati Shivaji Division I-A League organised by MDFA and played at Xavier8217;s Ground, Parel today. BPT, needing a win to qualify for the play-off, went into the lead in the second minute when a long clearance was misjudged by MLWB keeper George Dolrich. BPT restored parity in the 15th minute when Valentin Gonsalves converted a Charnel D8217;Souza pass.

Orlem road races

The Orlem Sports Council will be conducting the Limca sponsored 13th Annual Road Races at JBC Grounds, Malad W on Sunday, October 11, 1998 at 7.00 a.m.. The races will be held in following categories; men 12.5 kms, women 5 kms, boys u-20 8 kms, boys u-14, girls u-17 amp; 14 3kms, boys and girls u-12 2kms.
